On October 24th, I had the honor of participating in the “Influencer Days” organized by Rothenberger, a leading company in the field of tools for plumbing and heating installations. This exclusive event brought together influencers from across Europe for an experience that combined cutting-edge technology, culture, and solidarity.
History of Rothenberger Company
Founded in 1949 by Edwin Rothenberger, the German company has become a benchmark in the professional tools sector. With over 70 years of experience, Rothenberger has always focused on innovation and quality, developing equipment that has revolutionized professionals’ work worldwide.
The “Influencer Days” Event
Our adventure began in Vitoria, in northern Spain, where we settled into our hotel rooms. From there, we moved to the stunning location of Eneperi, an enchanting place that served as a backdrop for scenes from the famous series “Game of Thrones”.
Presentation of Rothenberger Equipment
In this unique setting, Rothenberger organized a private event to showcase their entire catalog of equipment. It was fascinating to discover the technological innovations and attention to detail that characterize their products. After the presentation, we explored the location, participated in some fun games, and finally dined in the same enchanting environment.
Visit to the Factories in Vitoria and Durango
The next day, we had the opportunity to visit the Rothenberger factory in Vitoria, where the kitchen and forge are located for crafting their tools. Witnessing the forging process and metallurgy involved in producing their high-quality products was truly enlightening.
We then moved to the facility in Durango, where they assemble their equipment and house the automated warehouse for distribution. This visit highlighted the construction quality and the efficiency of Rothenberger’s distribution network.
Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and Frank Gehry
In the afternoon, we headed to Bilbao to visit the renowned Guggenheim Museum. Accompanied by a specialized guide, we delved into the history of the museum, from Frank Gehry’s architectural masterpiece to the exhibited artworks. The museum stands as a symbol of cultural and urban renewal for the city of Bilbao.
Dinner with a View of the Guggenheim
We concluded the day with a memorable dinner on the terrace of The Artist Grand Hotel in Bilbao, overlooking the museum at sunset. The evening was made even more special when I was awarded for the challenge related to Rothenberger’s charitable foundation “Tools for Life”. Thanks to this victory, I will participate in their humanitarian project in Tanzania next February.
“Tools for Life” Foundation and Upcoming Project
The “Tools for Life” foundation is Rothenberger’s humanitarian initiative, dedicated to supporting projects that promote education, vocational training, and sustainable development in disadvantaged communities. Participating in the Tanzania project will be a unique opportunity to actively contribute to initiatives that make a significant difference in people’s lives.
Farewell and Gratitude
The following morning, we bid farewell at the hotel in Vitoria, each of us returning home with unforgettable memories and new friendships. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to Sabine and Sandra Rothenberger and all their staff for their hospitality and professionalism throughout this incredible experience.
